As much as we also enjoy the lux-life, Palm Springs' quintessential sunshine and warm weather make for the perfect vacation spot for outdoor enthusiasts.

Although there is no shortage of establishments with the AC cranked - we wanted to highlight some additional ways you can stay cool and enjoy all that Palm Springs to have offer! From museums to epic stargazing, homemade gourmet ice cream and luxury spas, Palm Springs really is the perfect getaway, even in the summer.
n terms of “public” art spaces, bathrooms are traditionally overlooked, a missed opportunity for an artist and the public to have a shared experience. By offering this blank three-dimensional canvas our goal is to give the artist the opportunity for creative expression while we and the public at large get the opportunity to think differently about a space that is traditionally thought of as a solely utilitarian.
As huge fans of the arts and the mission behind Desert X, we were excited to sit down with the non-profit’s Executive Director, Jenny Gil Shmitz, to get the inside scoop on the 2019 exhibition and what we can expect looking forward.
Frank Sinatra, aka “Mr. Palm Springs,” called the desert his home for more than 50 years. The Chairman of the Board and his Rat Pack buddies lived, loved and partied pretty hard here from the mid 40’s to late 1990’s. He has left imprints on the Palm Springs community that are still visible today.
